DoN Smithing Progression, can skip to Grandmaster?

Hello;
I'm about to emabrk on DoN smithing.

Do I have to complete all the Smithing quests or can I just skip to the "Grandmaster" armor quest?

I'm at 220 Smithing so its gonna be a long haul.

Once you do the quest for the armor molds, you can do any level of smithing. Your success rate will be low on the GM stuff at 220 though. You need 250 smithing and either mastery 3 or 15% mod to have the maximum chance to succeed on GM pieces.

The four 'tasks' give you a book (per task, and LORE) to make the symbols.

247 Smithing, Mastery 1 and 8% mod, and i've been extremely lucky to of been successful on 2 out of 3 GM armor combines, whew. So far 1 for myself and 1 for profit.

The various levels of the symbol tasks do not require you to complete the previous levels. The molds/patterns quests to make the armor is independent of the tasks, you just turn in the four newbie loot items. No expansions are required to be assigned the tasks, but various expansions are required to complete the task (you have to actually kill mobs in the zones that it says).
