Mind if I ask where you got the stone necklace to drop, and from what mob?

Finally got mine off one of the static trash gobbies on the path around the outside of the center temple, after going over the wooden bridge, House of the Autumn Rose mission.

I did a Thundercrest mission "House of Autumn Rose" which I found reference to on Allakhazam.com. Dropped on like the 4th goblin we killed in that mission.

I had looted stone necklaces in T-Delve missions, T-Delve non-instanced and Stillmoon Temple all did not update task. Very frustrating, and petitions were of no avail.
