Ok, I read a post that said trolls can't make their cultural armor, ogres have to do it. I want to verify this. If it is true that ogres are the ones that make the troll armor, then I have wasted countless hours and plat for 183 skill for nada. Want to make sure this is true before I throw in the towel.

Trolls make weapons... you'll need ~235 skill (just like BD Cultural) to have any decent success rates.
The modified SSoY, Staff of the Observers, Shimmering Orb & MM Shield seem the best. The Reshapen Sharkbone Warhammer, Polished Obsidean Shard & modified Runed Falchion are pretty good sellers as well.
The rest is junk.Angelsyn Whitewings, Cleric of Tunare for 66!Seasons.

None of the other cultural smiths get BD class weapons or shields, so trolls are filling a niche for everyone, not just Ogres.
But to answer the original post, no you won't be able to make your own cultural armor. The weapons are nice, so if I were you, I would check the stats on the main page and see if you consider them "worth" your effort.Arrakeen Naed'Shoj
