    Tae Ew Chain Recipes

    I have checked through the faq's and skimmed alot of the post as well as used the search fuction. I'm relatively new to the forum's but have been using the site for close to 2 yrs now.

    On to my question.

    I'm looking for Chain recipes for the Tae Ew armor. The site doesn't list what type(s) of metal/scales to use for it, and I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. Allakhazam listed some new Tae Ew Chain items with there last update but no recipes i've been able to find.

    Any help would be appreciatted

    Cazic Smithing does not seem to have a Chain-class recipie.

    Honestly, with how nice the Night Terror & Hurricane Chain recipies are, it's not very needed.

    Edit: Well, it seems that there are some Tae Ew Chain items showing up on Alla's site...

    Strange, the CT recipie books didn't mention Chain armour at all. :?

      Heres my guesstimate from working CT items.

      2 Tae Ew Blood & distilled mana - Distilled Tae Ew Blood

      Distilled Tae Ew Blood
      Sheets of Metal (varying numbers)
      Smithy Hammer ?
      Leather Padding ?
      Mold ? ( Chainmail patterns?)

      Im taking this from the recipies section of the site. Im guessing here because the weapons only require Blood & Sheetmetal. The Chain recipe mentions Distilled Blood and Sheets of metal so I take this to mean reg sheet metal as per the weapons. As far as the Mold - that I dont know about and Im guesssing about using padding and smithy hammer.

      I will have to try this tomorrow as I blew thru 7 tae ew blood tonight.

      6 for 6 on shields & 1 for 1 on 2 hander.

      Can you say I was popular in my guild tonight handing out goodies? hehe

      As a side note, I also tried various weapons..

      Halberd Head Mold was a DNC w/ SwampStave Smithy Hammer & Temper as well as DNC w/ Hilt Pommel & no hammer / Swampstave.

      Same with Double Edged Blade (?) Mold & Pick Axe Mold things. Tried various combos with these similar to the 2hs as well as with the Swamp Staves and no luck.

          Guessing here...

          But most likely for the Chain recipes, you need a Pristine Tae Ew Scale, a File, and a temper to make the rings. Just a guess though...

            Where does the SwampStave come from i think that is needed to make a 2h hammer but cound find no info under trade supplys thanks

              Swampwood Staves drop off the lizards that patrol the zigguraut in 4c. I have not seem them drop in 4c themselves.

              I am thinking that the chain WILL NOT take pristine scales. The clues state that its uses sheets of metal, and same with the weapons. It is somewhat on par w/ the plate as a per blood use overall. Eac combine will use two blood where plate uses 2 to 3 blood depending on the piece.

              I think thats why all of a sudden you are seeing the chain pieces found all at once. Someone had a small stack of them and went to town.

              And again you still have rare drops of Flawless Tae Ew Hides & Pristine Tae Ew Scales to roadblock plate / leather.
