Halfling Cultural help

I am attempting to make Halfling cultural armor. the Expert's line. Where/How do i find Ancestral Halfling armor so I can make the molds? Im confused and may sound like an idiot but I just do not understand what to do.

hail the quest giver and talk with him. he will ask you to deliver him 4 items (think from runnyeye and the gorge, been a while). you hand in the 4 items and get ancestral armor book which is for both smithing molds and tailoring patterns.

that book is the old style "hand it in" quest. the augment books are the new style "mission" type quest. it's a bit confusing =)

Just a pre-warning for halfling tailors

Moosse, just a pre-warning that unless you have the new VP key don't expect to do any Master's armor combines for tailoring.

Someone messed up on drop tables and has our Great Reptile Hides only dropping off the raptors in VP (I've wasted many many hours in CT without success!).

If nothing else join me in bugging this and maybe someday we'll get a valid zone for drops as don't think any other race requires access to a keyed zone for their master's drops.

The hides drop in Cazic Thule and also in PoNightmare off crocodiles, it's been verified.

The hides drop in CT but not PoNightmare. I farmed teeth on the crocs in Nightmare and never ever ever saw a hide. Keep in mind that I farmed enough teeth to make a full set of Master half elf plate, so I killed a lot of crocs; this isn't a small sample size.

I also farmed teeth in PoN, 180 teeth no hides.

Ah OK I stand corrected, I knew something for tradeskills dropped off those crocs.
