little smithing advice required pls at 222

Im planning on doing a smithing run over the next couple of weeks (pre next expansion) and would appreciate any advice for post 222.
I have completed my Halfling master cultural request (3 times, thanks Mr Rollback) and have about 200 bricks of Yttrium saved up. I really dont fancy doing shadowscream as my rogue main isnt really built for farming. I have about 600kpp saved up for the run. With Wunshi strength is 415.
What I really want to know, is should go MCS then Master cultural or the other way around MC then MCS. Ive a feeling that the MCS route may be killed off next expansion (I feel it in my halfling feet).
Your thoughts appreciated.

You would have to be absolutely insane to do pick sickles over master's DoN if you use yttrium bricks.

Honestly, I'd do shadowscream up to 267 first though... if you can farm yttrium bricks, then farming shadowscream will be totally trivial. It's somewhat time consuming, but its really not THAT much worse than farming the yttrium.

Buy all the yttrium you can get your hands on while doing shadowscream to 267, then do the master's sleeves up to 290. After that there's several things you can do (master's leggings/BP's at 3 yttrium per, GM DoN you can probably break even, white gold inlays when you see dust of discord at the right prices, discordant/chronal/bazu seals... gotta do a small easy quest and they sell back to merchant for 952pp, or sickles). Honestly, if you have the option of yttrium, then I'd use sickles only as a last resort.

BTW you didn't need to do the master's quest to skillup... the journeyman/expert/master/grandmaster quests are only for making symbols. All you have to do to make armor is the very noob level quest for the cultural book. Requires you only to collect 4 drops from low level areas and turn them in.
