Unsolved Troll weapon combines

I've found two weapons listed as useable in trade skills that I can not find or figure out a recipe for the combine. The weapons are Polished Granite Tomahawk and Staff of Withering. I've tried all the various molds I could find in Plane of Knowledges and none of them work. If any troll smiths have an idea, I would gladly appreciate it. It may just be that these weapons are not tagged right or they may not have a recipe coded for them. Any info would be appreciated.

The tomahawk is used as a combine for the Sage's Box of Research quest, which may or may not have a tradeskill component. I don't know of any normal tradeskill use for it.

I've never heard of a Staff of Withering. If you're talking about the Staff of Writhing, it's used in the same quest.

I also don't know offhand whether these combines are tradeskill-based or not. If they're tradeskill-based, what tradeskill do they use (presumably research) and what are the trivials for each combine?
