My KoS HE cleric has been using faithstone since her low 50s. If you have sow, you won't get aggroed. If you don't have sow, you should have DA or DB available just in case. In either instance, you need to be paying attention and start moving as soon as your feet hit the ground. Don't click the faithstone and wander off to get a soda. =)
One trick on long fights like Tunare... you can fight/heal, and then camp before the mob dies. Back when Treah was a stretch for my guild, we'd have our rangers Trueshot and then camp... it just takes the tank calling for camp and making sure the mob doesn't die before people who need to get out of the game get out. So for general killing, as a dedicated HE smith it's probably more trouble than it's worth for your wife to sacrifice faction and then have to be careful running around town from then on, but it's still entirely possible for her to help with Tunare.
