    DoN Smithed or Tailored symbol, does it matter?

    Looking through the extensive EQTC's material about DoN cultural symbols I came up with two questions I couldn't find answered:

    Is it safe to assume that the symbols, unlike the DoN cultural armor, is not race specific?

    Can a smithed symbol be used in a tailored DoN item (smithed boot symbol in a tailored boot)? And vice versa?

    Symbols, like armor, are race specific. The difference is that anyone can make the symbol, but only people from your race can make the armor.


    Can a smithed symbol be used in a tailored DoN item (smithed boot symbol in a tailored boot)? And vice versa?
    Symbols are made through smithing or tailoring. The result is the same and can be used in either smithed or tailored armor.

      No. Symbols are Deity specific. i.e. any race can wear so long as they worship the appropriate god. (and there are agnostic ones for them too)
