Think it got unstickied since the post went waaaaaaaaay off topic.

However, I think if a list could be compiled that didn't get off track and didn't turn into a huge debate on each individual "Dead horse" I could see about cleaning up the post (eg cutting it down so it's just information) and possibly having it restickied or maybe moved to the FAQ forum.

I personally think having a resource like this to point people to would be beneficial in the long run.

      Anyhow, good luck! 8)

        Dead Horse additions

        Add:

Human Bards - quellious, bristlebane, have no imbued armor.

        (and how did you miss)
for races w/o cultural armor, mistletoe sickles, acrylia, and shadowscream (expensive, rare, and tedious, respectively) are the only recipes after fine plate.

If those horses are not also dead, please shoot them for me?

One of my own gripes. High Elven Caster Chainmail is restricted to Tunare worshipers ONLY. A Karana Mage or a Solusek Ro Wizard is SOL.

Don't ask why I picked Karana as a diety for my Mage. I thought the Storm Lord would be a bit most "elemental" and interesting.

Dead Horse 2.1: The Jack List

Over the next couple of weeks, I am going to create a list called the "Jack List, a list of items that arent used for anything tradeskill-wise, quest-wise, or anything else. And, yes, I'm still updating the Dead Horse; I made it clear that I dont intend to give up on this idea.

Good for you. I completely support this idea.

I am absolutely sure my opinion was what you were specifically waiting on.

Iksar--Necromancers do not have a cultural smithed armor that they can wear.

                              Should be:

Iksar--Necromancers and beastlords do not have a cultural smithed armor that they can wear.

This has annoyed me to no end. I love playing my iksar beastlord, and one day I thought I'd transfer a few kpp from my main to make him a cultural tradeskiller. Seeing that I could never equip any of it really took a big hit on my racial pride. I'd at least settle for a little cultural tailoring, but there's none of that either.

Great list! Keep it going. There's nothing like killing 50 birds with one stone.

Then we might as well mention that iksar monks (as well as all other monks) have no cultural armor, smithed or otherwise.

                                Only 50?
