Human Cultural Master Quest

I'm doing the Human Cultural Master quest. I killed the 80 rats, but am having a booger of a time getting the 2 old dragon horn. ANyone else know a place to get this drop easier, or is it just gonna be one of those long slaughter camps?

If it's any consolation... I did the quest when it required you to loot 4 Old Dragon Horns.

I spent 5 hours with 4 people down in DN pulling trains of 20+ rats a time just so we were killing as fast as possible too. According to the log I took, I killed 379 Rats before looting my fourth horn.

Feel free to hate me, I got 3 horns before I was done killing my 80 rats.

Could you folks help me with some information? I went to DN (for the first time I might add), eventually finding the rats underground. I started pulling what looked like a rat well on his own, only to be hit by several adds from all angels.

Was wondering where you set up camp?

I justed walked the caves with a couple friends killing everything that moved. Granted that is hard for some because 200 hits on casters and under geared tanks, and lots of those, can be fatal.

Mostly, it's one of those solo ventures that is fairly high risk. There are a lot of wandering adds down there so you just have to be careful.

This almost belongs in the Primal Scream, but since I hope there is a solution, it goes here.

After killing my 80 rats and handing in the horns, after killing the five spiders and handing in the Phase Spider Silk . . . . . . . .


She gives it back. She does not need it she says.

Which leaves me with a quest unfinished, a Master book I have not received, and a quest giver who now tells me to go away when I talk to her, even though she happily gave me the quests for Journeyman, Expert and Master quests.

I have briefly scanned these forums for similar experiences, and since there are posts on various sites indicating others have had faction problems since DoD went live, I am sure there is a solution somewhere around here.

I hate DN. Easy place to get yourself trained in. A double pull at m50 soon turned into a non-stop auto-pull session that found me fighting with clickies, discs, and tanking for pet with heal pots. At the end 14 mobs lay dead on the ground around me. At peak there were 4 hammering on my pet. Yeah, I'm glad I'm done with that place...for now.
