  • Do cultural forges look differnt?

How does a cultural forge look different than a normal forge.
    for example the erudite one.

Cultural forges look exactly the same as the regular ones. The one and only way to tell between the two is to approach the forge in question and left-click on it. When the forge combine box opens up, it will have a title on top of it. Regular forges identify themselves as simply "forge". The cultural ones, on the other hand, will be identified as such.

The froglok cultural forge identifies itself as "Forge". The only way to check is to see if cultural combines show in favorites (or attempt a cultural combine), or if you get the "Your race or deity may not use this container" message when opening it on a non-frog.

This problem seems to exisit for all the cultural forges. For example the three different forges in Kelethin cannot be told apart except but making a combine. One is my cultrual, one I can't use, the other is general. All are labeled forge on both the new UI and on the "expirement" interface.
I call for the elimination of EQ levels 1-50.

They took the cultural tag off forges a few months ago. The only way you can tell now is by knowing where the correct cultural forge is.

Ah, I stand corrected! I was not aware that the labels had been taken off the cultural forges. Now that I think of it, that would explain why I couldn't find the Freeport cultural forge a few weeks back by the fighter's guild. It was there, but since I didn't see the cultural forge tag when I opened it, I assumed it was a regular forge.

It looks as though I was the one to learn something when I thought I was giving out sound advice. Sorry about my mistake!

                    This is incorrect.

It is possible that your faction might be an issue though... especially if you've ever gone hunting in PoGrowth!

Much like the Freeport Cultural Forge being a Royal PITA for Paladins to get to... especially if you've killed Lucin for your Soulfire/Epic.
