Upgrading Bazu/Magnetic armor once it has become attuned

Hey there,

Quick question:

If Bazu/Magnetic armor becomes no drop, i.e. you put it on, can you still upgrade it to bazu xxx of flames/charged magnetic xxx once it's been attuned? Or can you only combine the armor with pyrilen flame/lightning core while it is tradeable?

I'm working on getting my smithing to 222 and getting blacksmithing mastery 3 maxed, then I want to make myself a full set of bazu armor minus a helm. Some of the pieces by themselves (ie not "Of Flames") would be upgrades for me, so I am wondering if I can do the combine after they can be no drop.

Yes, you can do this. I did it with my Cleric's Magnetic Leggings to make them Charged Magnetic Leggings.

Don't forget to remove any Augs you might have put in them! If you do the combine with the Aug in it, you will lose the Aug!

You can still upgrade them once attuned, but the new version would still be NO DROP (attuned to you).
