Cultural Symbol Question

I have not yet completed my GM Symbol quest yet. I used to think that once you had done the quest you can make symbols but only for your OWN deity.

Is this wrong?

Am I right in thinking that once you have done the quest you can make symbols for ANY deity as long as you have all the correct components ?

If its the latter then thats great news as i can ask someone else to make my augs and get them the components Wheeeee!!

You can make symbols for any deity once you have the symbol patterns.
