  • newbie would be smith and DoN cultural

My guild is semi-ep (we raid there but can't take everyone along even with the 85 rules). So I was thinking that the DoN cultural armor would be a nice upgrade to the current regular DoN merchant armor I have now. And I've always wanted to do smithing anyway and so I'd like to do this myself.

The DoN cultural guide had a lot of useful information in it concerning the quests for getting the molds and pieces, etc., but it didn't mention what smithing skill or other tradeskill lvl you needed in order to make any of the pieces. It being the best droppable armor in the game to my knowledge, I would assume that you would need the highest smithing skill achievable to make it. Is that a fair assumption? What other skills do you need? Brewing maybe?

My main is an Ogre Shadow Knight so that's whom I would be making the armor for. Depending how insanely difficult it is, or how insanely determined I am, I may want to make gear for my Dark Elf Cleric and Iksar Necromancer.

    Thanks for any comments.

Did you look on the main site?

    1. Go to www.ewtraders.com
    2. Click on "Recipes" on the left side menu
    3. Click on "Smithing"
    4. At the top you will see "Dragons of Norrath Recipes" - "Cultural Armors" and "Symbol (Augment) Recipes"
    5. To learn how to make the Armor, click on "Cultural Armors"
    6. Scroll down and choose your race (Ogres)
    7. Browse through recipes - DoN Cultural pieces all have "Journeyman", "Expert", "Master" or "Grandmaster" in front of teh name of teh item.

    Have fun =)
