  • Question on getting higher from 180

I have over 200k in the bank and wanting to know the best and fastest route to skilling up. I see basically from 220 higher but what about from 180 to 220?

Just picked up a whole lot of Bone Temper should get me a little closer to 300. Just remember that you also need leather padding... you did save all your leather padding right?

Do it fast though. News is that the next patch is nerfing some of the smithing trivials. (Specifically Shadowscream, although that is in no way a fast skill up route)

Do fine plate to 188. That's pretty much a given. After that things get iffy. Depending on race, the old school cultural recipes are an option to get well past 220.

If they nerf Shadowscream, I bet it will be like the Velious tailoring nerf, taking it down to 252 or so. That would leave you some points to gain from it if you wanted to do the farming.

Mistletoes Sickles will probably see the same fate, nerfed to 252 or so. An expensive option, but still an option.

You can also do Enchanted Velium Bits (takes a coldain velium temper, 2 small pieces of velium, and a copy of the scroll Enchant Velium). Another expensive option, but less expensive than sickles. You can generally buy velium in the bazaar so it can be done without a ton of farming. This takes you to 222.
