Can I just skip to master armor in DON cult.

I tried searching but could not find a definitive answer. After doing the ancestral book quest, can I just skip the journeyman and experts quests and start with the master quest. Is it possible to just do master and grandmaster smithing without ever doing any journeyman or expert smithing. I do realize they are level dependant. Thanks you for your replies.

I did the journeyman quest to see what the quests was all about, then skipped expert and master and went right to the Grandmaster quest without any problems. I didn't do any journeyman smithing, only things I've made have been grandmaster stuff.

Personally, I just did the Master's Quest.

However, to make the Armour itself you have to just to the armour mold quest. The various level quests are only for the Augs.

Thus, since I have a Guildmate who will be doing the GM quest (later) and I am very slow at gaining levels... I'll let them do the Augs and only make any GM armour pieces for myself and any other High Elves in the Guild that want/need them.
