Smithing 271 and what now ?
Im Dark elf magician witch allows me to farm quite easy, DoN cultural armor seems a no go becouse of the crazy low drop rate of midnight stones.
At the moment i am considering

Yttrium metal sheets
Old cultural armor
Black acrylia weapons
Misttletoe cutting crap (god forbid it)
Tae ewe armor

Any experience with those recipes or any others ?
Also any idea of the value/tribute or pp on said items.
money really isnt an issue but the price on inferno scepter is a bit steep.

Yttrium Sheets = don't do this, the drop rate for fungoid sap is too low to make this viable. On the bright side, you might want to farm a few of these since the finished product can sell for a bunch -- I see them at 30k or so per sheet in the bazaar. So may be make two or three of them, but don't consider this a skill-up path.

Tae Ew armor. This is easy to farm and easy to skill up on but you'll hit the trivial level at around 282, so might be good to do this now.

Old world cultural. Perhaps my favorite to do with ogre, not sure how good it is for dark elf -- hope you like farming shadow men.

Black acrylia weapons I've heard that the temper is a huge pain to make these. I haven't tried it but have some o' the components stashed away in various places. Perhaps I should try it sometime.

Mistletoe cutting sickles, hope you like making celestial essences. Mostly storebought, but need a buttload of imbued emeralds. Manastone helps with the imbues, for the wealthy folks.

This is 400pp a piece last I checked, and takes a good while to farm, lest your hitting grieg every week or VT.

Actually, Tae Ew weapons, Shields & Chain all triv at 295. There's also Hurricane Plate, which also trivials at 295.

You can also do Magnetic BPs & Greaves to 282 (or so).

Personally, I'm doing a variety of things... whatever comes to hand.

Mistletoe crap - very expensive but they tribute for more than they cost - i think cost is around 300 pp per try(depending what components you buy from bazaar and which ones you make yourself) but tribute for 1300 points.

Another downside is the number of subcombines needed, each sickle needs 9 celestial essences to start., not to mention the combines you use those esssences for.

Another downside is that the molds, hilt, curved blade and pommel don't stack and the final result, the sickle doesn't stack either.

so you need lots of storage space for them.

not sure what the market for sickles are like for your server is, but you might be able to sell them off if people are looking for good tribute items. ( wouldn't count on it thought)

tae ew shields tribute for right around 3k. It's a good way to get more tribute points then you will ever use ever.

Tae Ew shields and mistletoe sickles rule for tribute, especially when skilling up on sickles... they sell pretty decently too I've found, due to the tribute value.

At the moment i am going for tae ew chain legs, they tribute for 4492 and cost around 200pp to make (i sell them for 700pp with little trouble).
Skill is 277 now and raising, the only problem is that the blood is a bit slow to farm and you need 2 for each combine.
