Pale Golden Inlaid Bastard Sword Blade and Hilt

I have made everything but the forges in POK say cannot combine

Have:

Long Blade Mold
Sheet of Aligned Steel
Golden Long Blade Kit
Pale Nihilite Long Blade Kit

But it will not combine.

Help! Is it a special forge? or a plain one andif so where is it

The combine should work in any forge now, definitely any forge available in the PoK. Is it the correct Long Blade Mold? Comes down to what you paid for it - if the vendor charged a bit over 4pp, it's the correct mold. If it was considerably cheaper, you bought the wrong mold, and gotta buy the other one

Hmmmm, okay that is not hard to replace and will try later on. For the jewelry side I bout the blade and hilt molds in Abysmal Sea. So will go back there and perhaps the mold from there will work.

Now, is there a step that is missing from all this. Instructions say put all the pieces in a forge but no forge will accept it.

Should I be making a Pale blade and a Pale Hilt and then a golden blad and hilt and then combine.

Not sure why it's not working for you, I checked other recipes and the recipe you are trying follows the same pattern as other nihilite Bastard Swords (ie Velium Gemmed Bastard Sword)...double check the Long Blade Mold and Long Hilt Mold, and if that doesn't work maybe try the Great Sword Blade Mold...G'luck!
