Okay, I've gotten my smithing up to 192 and I'm looking to go to 250 or so (300 would be nice, but not sure I have that kind of patience).

I don't mind it taking a long time (took about a year to get up to this level) but I HATE those combines that require 50 million different items and sub combines.

What I've been doing with tinkering is a nice 2 item combine, one item is farmed and the other is vendor bought for 60p and that'll take me up to 228.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any similar recipies with high trivial and few (1 or 2) farmed components and the remaining components can be vendor bought?

note: farmed components don't have to be easy or common drops. something that nets exp while farming would be nice, but not needed. Moslty I just don't want to have to run all over norath looking for tradeskill supplies.

    Thanks for you input!

LDoN plate armor, Breastplates trivial at 212 and everything is vendor-bought except the temper ingredient. They can be foraged in LDoN adventures and also drop off mobs (do EC advs, Goblin Bones used to drop frequently.)
