After conducting several searches, I am still unable to find any augments that are for slot type 12. I realize the slot type 11 is filled with the DoN player made augments, and slot 7 easily found on LDoN merchants and in the LDoNs themselves. Are slot 12 augments dropped in DoN? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only augments that specifically have slot 12 listed on them are OOW player-made augments or the base augments for those recipes.
However, there are also a number of augments that can go in any augment slot number. These include the resist augments from the DoN mission vendors and the 4 different augments that drop from the first named in Tipt. -

I also got loads of hits but 98% had absolutely nothing to do with any type of information concerning Slot Type 12 augments. I also typed in Slot 14 and ended up with 20 pages worth of stuff. Know of any Slot 14 stuff in EQ?Originally posted by Secone

that might be very well a bug. could anyone be so kind a post a alla premium search for augs that fit in all slot types here? i found only don resist augs so far but rumors say, that there are some ac augs in kt / ferubi that fit in all slots as well.... tank here, so.... i cant stand to click every aug thats listed on alla :-)

Alla's hasn't been updated for a bit on the premium search feature I don't believe. The drop down menu allowing you to search by slot type only has slots 1 through 8 as choices. And when I did a search for an item I knew to be a slot 11 it had

I feel that the type 12 slot degrades the grandmaster armour considerably. If you want an augment in it you are severely restricted as the better OoW augments are restricted to very certain slots. That means that the regen 3 augment is one of the few to go in the Breastplate. Which I personally couldn't care less about...
What would be nice would be if the type 12 was a type 7/8 or even a 2nd type 11 slot. Even if some might think that having two grandmaster chest symbols in one BP might be exaggerated, maybe it could be restricted to a grandmaster chest symbol in one and a master chest symbol in the other. It would make the armour more up to par with the effort put into it, as well as making them a bit more in line with something that isn't 4 expansions old.

Olts you slacker, the type 12 aug slot options info is on PoN too!
Augs droped byMaternal Cragbeast in tipt.
Add the +30hp/mana/end Cipher of Veeshan if you do the old VP quest for acsess to new VP, instead of the echos. The echos route is +15 instead.
Kyanites and tourmalines round out the rest of the good options for a knight.
I suggest tipt/cipher augs in BP/Legs, kyanites in hands feet and arms, a tourmaline in head. Like so.
There are +resist and +stat options from the Don merchants as well. By the time you are equiping GM level gear, stats shouldn't be much of an issue. Rember the diminishing returns as well. The resist augs hold some apeal, but I found it easy to gravitate towards the hp augs, and I had the kyanites avaliable from my old gear. I've just been adding type 7 augs, including the +50hp and +10ac options from DoN.Comment

Unfortunately only the leggings are higher AC then EP for a war so that's what I'm going after. It sounds like I could get the 30/30 aug from tipt or go down the route of the BiC quest for the slot 12 on those leggings. Anyone know of an AC aug or higher-then-30hp aug that would fit in the slot 12?Comment

All augs from tipt cragbeast, 10 hp 8 sv all aug from DoN vendors (example) as well as more from DoN, many from LDoN, VP key, BiC aug, all of the oow tradeskill augs, shall I go on?Comment

I haven't looked over ldon raid drops, but no dice on single group mission drops or ones bought with ldon points. No dice with oow tradeskill augs or don crystal ones either.Comment

I have seen only 1 slot 12 aug from DoN. Very early after release. i dont recall name of it, but it was a FT2 bp aug. as i remmeber it dropped from one of the spider named in easiest missions level.
