  • Ok, I've got the bug

The smithing bug that is. I'm totally hooked. I've read the guides and am now at 183. I know that's far short of many of you but (to me) its been tough to get there. I had a question though. Im on the TEST server (I know, I know) and really enjoy being there but there is one factor that's in play that I think is unique to test. There is basically no Bazaar to speak of. Ok, there is a bazaar, but the most I've ever seen in there are 13 sellers. No, that isnt missing a digit. So basically nothing can be bought. The most I saw was a guy with 20 leather paddings selling for 35pp each. No spiderling silks, no velium, no bloods for temper, etc, etc, etc.

So, just curious, did you high level smiths farm all your own stuff? Did you buy it in the bazaar? I'm hvaing to farm everything myself and am about sick to death of seeing spiderlings. Laying waste to all the Hoppers in Marus Seru is still fun (PB AoE ), but CC velium farmng has gotten tiresome too.

Just looking for the misery loves company crowd out there. I will keep plugging at it, though!

I farmed most of my stuff, but did get some doing merchant diving.

Go through the inventory of merchants in zones with lots of spiderlings and pelt bearing animals.

However, since you can /testbuff to 25, I bet there isn't much traffic in the newbie zones on Test.

    A thought though.

      Vendor Diving

Yes, I have embraced this too and gotten amazing finds at times. But you are right, the low lvl zones are pretty unpopulated so I usualll have more luck on things like LDON temper ingredients etc. But thanks for the suggestion.

I hunt or vendor dive for a lot of my own stuff, and most times I even make my own celestial essences *twitch*
