There is a gargoyle area near where the Mujaki event is spawned. I believe it's the SE area of the zone?

I went to go on a suicidal solo'ing mission to see if they dropped, but got distracted by someone wanting me to tank DoNs for them. Going to check into this again tonight, hopefully without interruptions.Comment

Can confirm that they drop. Took my SK there for a couple hours, got one from A Crumbling Gargoyle. Killed about 15-20 Crumbling/Weathered Gargoyles (not enough for a decent sample), it dropped on the second gargoyle.Originally posted by Wyvernwill

Yeah, that solo'ing mission was a lot easier than I expected... somehow I remembered gargoyles being a bit more... mean? The short of Gargoyles, double 335 max, average hps for a PoNightmare mob, don't summon. Was extremely easy for my necro to agro kite at lvl 60.
The drop rate seems to be almost a static 1 per 16 mobs, give or take a few kills. It seems like every fourth round of killing the one side's spires (four golems per side) yeilded a Pile of Gravel. Other notable drops: Diamonds, Blue Diamonds, Raw Diamonds, Midnight Stones, and two VT items worth about 80-100pp each. At lvl 70, it gave about 2% AA per solo kill, At lvl 60, about 4% per kill AA.Comment

Went to the gargoyle city this afternoon to test the droprate. Killed about 30 of them and got one gravel. I was extremely disappointed in the drop rate.Comment

1 in 20 to 1 in 30 seems to be comparable with the small brick of yttrium, but is it as soloable as yttrium (sun revs in grey, thought horrors in the deep, guards in seru)??Comment

The drop rate in the hole seems to be about 1/30. I actually kept track of my first two drops, the first coming after 25 kills and the second after 35 kills. I just keep running up and down the tunnels killing as I go. It's good exp, but it can get rather boring.

Just killing the earth elementals in the hole or was there another mob type that it dropped off of? I'm almost thinking if it's the earth ele's... my paladin will do far better there than my necro in PoN.Comment
