  • Wood Elf Cultural Chain on E'ci

In the past couple of days I started exploring WE Cultural, with a focus on chain stuff, as I play a ranger and I see those nice augments for sale and no one offering anything with slot 11 on it.

So Yesterday I made an (edit) expert's chest item, and this morning I made a master's hand item (lucky on that, had 2 yttirums and succeeded on one of two tries despite only 200+geerlok smithing).

Anyway, I checked on my buyer, where tradeskilled stuff only appears in the DB if it has be made on the server, and these are the only two expert or master Wirewood armor items in the E'ci database. I am almost certain until I made these, nothing higher than journeyman wirewood armor had been made. Is there no one else but me doing this stuff? I see GM Symbols of Growth for sale all the time -- why is no one going the Master or GM-level armor?

Let's put it this way: I am a willing buyer, esp., of the GM wirewood cuirass. is anyone out there exploring this? I know metallic drakescale is hard to come by, but I was shocked to see no one making even master-level stuffIf I have to get 100 more points of smithing, I guess I will but golly, this is a wide open market -- someone grab it!

Think about it. Any of the races that did not have good blue diamond cultural are likely to not have many high level smiths. Probably just those that decided to grind out for the Aid Grimel quests.

Also, those that decided to grind out the Grimel quests are probably raiders, that didn't spend a lot of time in tradeskills before or after the quest (sorry for the broad generalization).

So yes, there is likely to be a wide open market for races like Wod Elf, Half Elf, Troll, Iksar, and Froglok. Opportunity is knocking...

Well but how are the Grandmaster's Symbols of Growth being made? Presumably some of those Tunare worshippers are Wood Elves?

Don't just sell blades, people! We need razors to put them in!

Actually, only the armor combines are race restricted - if you can get the water, you can make the Symbol that matches that deity

AH! I did not realize that. That explains why these salespeople look at me crazy when I beg them to make me the armor to go with it and wave hundreds of thousands of plat at them.
