Dinged 300 Smith tonight. Wood Elf Ranger on Stromm.

I farmed stuff from the time those stupid sewing needle things trivial'd at 122ish.
I farmed hides and silks to make the leather padding for fine plate, then I farmed velium to make the magic velium bits till 222. After that I hit up the gnolls in the Steppes and slaughtered them for Steppes Ore till 262. Then kept farming them for Rhenium, Tungsten and the occasional Cobalt ore. I threw in a few combines of the Titanium ore (which is what I dinged 300 on) and some of the energeiac short swords.

Once I hit 293 earlier today the *get it done now bug* hit me and I bought out the bazaar 3 different times on Tungsten, Cobalt and Titanium ore.

I farmed until the thought of farming any more made me want to get sick. Otoh, the amount of cash I threw at those last 7 skill ups IS making me sick.

Got 300 yesterday, and by the evening, had made 6 Elegant pieces for friends. Trophy is 25% to maxxed. Have Mastery 3 and Salvage 1, but grinding as I type this to get Salvage 3.

Ding 300 last night(12/17/20007) finally. From 295 to 296 it took 109 titanium ore and around 15 bonded loam but from 296 to 300 only around 30 more bonded loam. Anyway I am so happy that finally I can get my drakkin elegant armor
