Now just need to get Zopharr (282 Dwarf) and Rishathra (262 Troll) the rest of the way there . . .

300 smithing achieved last night - had farmed enough for 20 cultural armour combines for the last point needed. Failed on 20th combine but got the skill up!
Used a mixture of magnetized, MCS, Sunshard ore and cultural armour (yttrium for wood elf) for combines above 250.
Didn't do any MCS til post 280. Choice at this level is time sink (farming yttrium) or plat sink (MCS)!! Actually only did 2 lots of 100 MCS combines preferring the time sink over the plat sink!
Smithing was last tradeskill to max.
"Master Artisan" has a nice ring to it!

Ding 300 Smithing.
This was my final tradeskill and without a doubt my most painful to master. I had a horrible experience with MCS's , very few skillups from many many .... MANY combines. I had much greater success when switching to cultural (wood elf - yttrium ores) and tbs helms (sunshard ores).
I also had the unique experience of having my trophy evolve to masters level before me at 294 smithing. It stopped evolving completely at that stage.Heartz Broken - Druzzil RoComment
