Okay, it has been a while, but I am seriously considering a comeback to EQ now that my dead server has merged and the upcoming class changes. HOWEVER, I am deeply curious if they have said anything about a pet issue of mine. Did they ever give us an update on the "Froglok Cultural Armor" that they at one time said was in the game, then acknowledged was never put in, then they told us was in development?

Not EXACTLY, no. What they have done is created NEW cultural armor recipes for every race. Each race now has plate, chain, leather, and silk if they have a class which wears that armor (as the best they can wear...no silk for warriors.) It comes in 4 tiers with required levels of 15, 35, 55, and 65 with recommended of 20, 40, 60, and 69, respectively.
So, yes, Froglocks have cultural armor...but no, it is not the same as the armor you are referring to.
