Reached the 212 mark doing Velium bits thingys. Whats the next recomended trail for a wood elf Druid of tunare??

Any help would be appreciated.

213 - 222 Enchanted Velium Bits
223 - 227 Aid Grimel No. 1 - Blacksmithing - Repeat Cleansed Breastplate over and over.
228 - 248 Shadowscream Steel Boots
248 - 262 Shadowscream Steel Gloves
263 - 267 Shadowscream Steel Cloak
268 - 300 Mistletoe Cutting Sickle

Possible slight bias in Secone's case *wink* but I've yet to find a better way to 267 than Shadowscream. After 267 however, there's no way I'm doing Mistletoe Cutting Sickles; too pricey and too many subcombines. I'm going to use old school Human Cultural (Fine Seafarers) to go from 267-300. Fewer components and subs, although some of them aren't that plentiful. For now thoughm you should probably get used to many, many, many (many) hours of farming for shadowscream.

You should check under recipes, under your specific race, to see if there's a high-end alternative to MCS's.

This is probably the best way to go. Keep in mind that you need to be flagged for killing Bertox in order to do the Aid Grimel step. If you are not, then I'd suggest Shadoscream Steel Bracer from 223 - 228. Considering that the trivial level for tailoring combines changed in the recent patch, I wouldn't be surprised to see the sickles change down to around 250 with an upcomming patch as well (probably 252, similar to the robe.)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this. Nothing great for woodies. Only one recipe past 200 (Grandmaster's Wirewood Mithril Bar; trivial at 242) but takes metallic drake scales (dropped somewhere in DoN I believe)

you could even start doing magnetic armor combines depending on prices/availability of materials for the 250+ range.

resell or using em as a step for non-ep peeps in your guild to fill the gap between ornate and ele armors.

just thought id throw that out, there really not a good skill up path choice but you can do the combines for peeps or whatever to supplement some skill ups too

With the dropping of trivials, am guessing that it wont be long before Mistletoe Cutting Sickles went down to 252.

If you are looking at that path, you better get farming for shaddowscream sharpish!

I was going to say... with the possible changes.. if you looked at things from the Velious Luclin eras getting lowered to "reasonable" levels in SoE's eyes, you are going to lose Shadowscream, Cultural, MCS.

Who knows what else may change, but that's the way things are.

Path looks good, but I would also look at highlevel recipes so you know the rare ingrediants and keep a lookout on vendors and the odd bazaar find.

Good luck on the smithing, I am on the same path.
