Here is a log of my progress. I used Sickles exclusively for skilling up.

10 Skill ups = 260 skill

I found that the skill ups came faster at the end than at the beginning.

I found make poison seemed to fly on the last 10 imps. Dunno if you and I just hit the rng, or if it is easier to finish. /shrug.

I found that the skill ups came faster at the end than at the beginning.

Thats as it should be. Slightly higher chance of a skill up on success and slightly higher chance of success as you near the trivial.

But 960 combines for 50 points of skill. Thats alot of sickles either way and mighty pricey I bet too (not to mention the number of celestial essences you must of made; somewhere near 8000 I figure)

But congrats! at 252 myself and hoping to make it up there sometime this decade

How much did you spend total on the skill ups?

its just over 300pp per attempt. i did every single combine my self and did not outsource anything. that means that it cost about 300k for the combines. in the end i had about 800 sickles. it is anyones guess what sickles are worth in those quantities. i will be selling them for a long time. i am going to try to sell them for 300pp each to try and recoup my costs. basically, if i were to sell them all (which would probably take months) then the cost would be about 100k.

Also, i tributed tons of them and maxed the tribute on two different characters. i plan to use more as tribute since they are worth more as tribute then as plat to me anyway.
