  • Human Cultural Forge?

Checked the forges in qeynos and FP and neither of the former cultural forges are labeled as such anymore.
Anybody knows which Forge is the one we need to use for the new cultural combines? tried all of them without success.

    Thanks

Ack! I was planning to do some Old World cultural in the Qeynos Royal Forge for some skillups towards 300.

Is Old World Cultural no longer available?

Both Forges are just labeled as "Forge" if you open them, at least prepatch. Haven't tried any of the old cultural recipes yet. Maybe its just a naming bug, the new combines seem to work fine though.

That's a bug. They will still work as cultural forges (in fact, we took away the distinction between the two, Human cultural is now Human cultural, whether you're in Freeport or Qeynos), the only thing that doesn't work is the display name. Until we can get that fixed you'll have to remember which is which. Please help any new players that come along and want to find the right forge.

          Sorry about the bug.

Unless this is specific to the Human containers, or only affects World containers, that's not accurate. My Vale Forge now acts as a normal forge, including showing my normal favorites instead of my cultural favorites. My Vale Sewing Kit acts as a normal sewing kit including favorites, and I did try a tuft combine in them for a haversack and was denied...

We've completely revamped the way cultural works, including the containers, which makes this a good bit more flexible in the future. There may be a couple recipes that we didn't convert to being used with this new system, so that's something we'll have to look into.

Color me strange, but it always seemed silly to me that the cultural containers couldn't be used for normal combines as well. So, when revamping the cultural system, I got rid of that silliness. It's all part of my grand scheme to confuse everyone.

Now, the cultural forges can be used for both cultural recipes and all standard recipes. The unfortunate part is that, right now, they're both named the same, though we've got that on our list of bugs to fix.
