Dark Elf Cultural armor

I'm interested in smithing this, but can't find Elf Blood for the tempers. I've got a 49 monk, 52 necro & 53 wizard to kill the elves, but I can't find anything who drops blood. I know human blood comes from bandits in SK and NK, but despite their seeming 1/2 elven looks, they never drop elf blood. Any help would be appreciated.

As a side note I know DM keeps up a list of all purchasable items for crafting, perhaps a hunting guide for dropped items would be good.

There is one. For smithed tempers we see:
elf blood: off a variety of elves (Sister Isle in OOT, Wood elves in Timorous Deep, etc., are commonly "farmed" for blood), pilgrims in Firiona Vie

I smith on the rathe, 202 skill now, I get my elf blood from the sister island in oot. I can get 20 in about 10-15 mins, with a crapload of 1pp purity belts to sell to vendors. I made about 200 pp the other night and got 25 of them.

Gunthak!

SOE has decided to give us a new source of blood it seems. In the little fort just past the newbie zone in Gunthak there are tons of gnome, dark elf, erudian, etc mobs. I can't remember their exact title but there are lots of them there. It is really simple to farm these mobs for blood and / or parts from each of the respective races. The mobs are green / lt blue to a 57 mage, so for younger players this might not be an option-- or on the other hand it might be a great place to get both components AND exp.

The best place I have found to get Elven Blood is in TD.

The point where the shuttles leave the dock is the outpost to hunt.

Per 1 hours work I can gather close to 5 to maybe 6 vials of Elven Blood.

After about a full days hunting I can leave with close to 2 full stacks of Elven Blood.


Now as for the Essence of Shadow... that can take litterally days... if not weeks to get them.

The BETTER source for Elven Blood is Gunthak; kill the dark elven pirates near the fort. Drops a heck of a lot more than the blood does from the Sisters on Sister Island...

My favorite spot for farming blood is in Lesser Faydark. The Ranger camp in the middle of the zone has a nice spawn, all AE'able. When I finish there, I dash over to the Shadowed Men and get essence. I usually score about a stack of blood and a stack of essence in a couple hours.

If you mean that black one, Equestrielle...I've had one run in with her, but she was easily DESTROYED!!!! Then again, I'm not sure how easy that would be for some people, so yeah, it is probably not too great of a method.

Still, in my many trips there, I've only encountered her once.
