Attuneable crafted items.. Upgradable?

I recently purchased a few Bazu chain items for my shaman, and attuned them to him (it really helps with buyers remorse too.. )

Once his smithing gets to 250 will I be able to upgrade them to Bazu flame items?

Yes, YOU can, you just can't hand them to a GM smith to do it for you, because tehy are now attuned to you and No Drop

Also important to note, after you upgrade them, they will still be no drop. At least my Feran Tunic (leather) was not tradeable after I upgraded it, so I would assume the same can be said for the chain.

and note, if you upgrade them with an augment on them, it will be lost...
