well, charged magnetic boots are the same colour as regular magnetic boots (that is the basic plate colour). So I'd assume the legs are the same.
and no idea on price as I made mine to wear.

Lucy lists Charged as using Velious Plate 1 for graphics, vs uncharged which use Velious Plate 2. So even if color stays the same, you should see a graphic change if you use old models and have enabled the appropriate velious textures (which I think are all disabled by default).
Mag boots go for about 10k on Xev. Never see any charged on sale, but given that I saw LCs only a couple times and priced at like 50k, prices on charged must be steep.

The pricing on magnetic gear is one of the most recent infuriating things about the way SOE does drop rates. Case in point:
Magnetic breastplate sells (on Bertox server) for between 15-20k.
Lightning cores, however, sell for anywhere from 30-50k, if not more.
So, if I actually want to make a charged magnetic breastplate (which, remember, only adds 25hp, etc. to the regular one), I'm going to have to set the price for the item at a minimum of 150k in order JUST to recoup my own costs. Or, if I'm not an idiot, I can just stick to making magnetic BPs and selling the lightning cores to OTHER idiots with more money than sense.
Obviously, the drop rate on cores needs to be lower than the rate at which magnetic BPs enter the market, or else nobody would use the lower-end item. But the extreme rarity of the cores leads to the obvious conclusion that a tradeskiller is actually being smarter to NOT practice his trade, which seems a sad problem to me...
And don't forget the droppable dragorn heirloom breastplate that has more ac and just a little less hp, and is truly droppable, not attunable, and sells for less than a charged magnetic bp.
I make magnetic from stuff I get as it drops, I just sell lightening cores for 50k in the bazaar.

While I agree with the sentiment that it is unfortunate that it is more profitable to sell the raw cores than to sell the charged armor, the lightning cores are by no means unique in this - look at the standard answer to "how do I make money with tradeskills?": you sell the materials to other people doing tradeskills. The situation with the lightning cores seems to me to be mearly a extension of this fact.
(Admittedly, the dynamic is most often related to components used in skillup recipes, but it is also true for rare combines, such as (at least historically) many PoP combines in assorted Tradeskills).
Saw my first Charged Magnetic Breastplate for sale in the bazaar today. 400k. I'm sure it will sit there for a while at that price. Lightning Cores go around 50 - 60k in the bazaar on my server.

I rarely see lightning cores for sell on Fennin or charged magnetic armor. Last week there were 3 cores selling for 40k each... they sold fast. Last week I also saw a charge magnetic BP and legs for 325k, which sold within a couple of days. Subsequent to this I saw two charge BPs sell for 275k.
I will be interesting to see what happens to this market after the patch. If they do swap the magnetic plate requirement for repairs with what the current copper plate requirement is it will take many more broken magnetic armor pieces to make repairs. Logic would indicate that this should work to make the finished pieces more expensive. However, when has logic meant anything in the bazaar? Expect the broken armor pieces to escalate in price and also expect to see less finished or repaired items for sale. I do not expect to see any change to the charged market. Finished BPs and Legs will stay in the 250k range for the foreseeable future.
I bought the charged magnetic greaves for 40k plat + a trade item worth 100k-150k. I currently have two lightning cores for sale at 50k each, they haven't sold in over a week.
Greaves are silvery color when worn by an ogre, as someone predicted above.

I agree completely.
Personally, I will only ever make Charged Magnetic armour for my own use or for friends... nobody is willing to pay the prices that I would have to charge based on the cost of making the stuff.
It's going to be hard enough selling the Bazu Leggings of Flames I made when I lucked into some Pyrilen Flames, then bought 2 more for 25k each.
Edit: What's really sad is the people who want more for the unfinished items (like Cracked Bracers for 5k?!? ) than I sell the finished pieces!

Except that if you hunt at all in MPG they cost nothing to make. Of course you might want to subtract what you could have got for the components you used but where is the fun in that?
Just killing the core droppers while waiting on trial lockouts and/or friends to log in usually netts me 1 to 3 lightning cores a session plus a large surplus of the broken armor.
For my own use I only bothered with the legs, helmet and arms. The other slots you can do better elsewhere but add in the 25 and 20ac rs augs and they are hard to beat for the none raider this side of anguish.
For selling I stick with the legs/bp's which I currently having no trouble selling for 275k and 300k!
