Shadowscream Gorget is not Trivial Below 192

Last night I was doing about 40 combines, and I was wondering why my skills. When I actually read the window, it was saying shadowscream gorgets were trivial ... My skill was at 192..

This was after a 20 hour farming session, so I believe I got it mixed up with the humming orb combines. I'm really sorry for all of the confusion. But I can confirm that at 192 and below this is NOT trivial.

Double check this please. All the Shadowscream so far trivs at over 242ish.

You have got to be kidding me...I cant believe they would change the Trivs on this stuff, especially considering how much of a PITA it is to gather all of the components together. I spent 2 weeks gathering materials to ramp up my smithing, I only got to 205 smithing before yesterdays patch, as I was getting burned out and started taking my time.

Lord, I still have 500 Humming Orbs stashed on alts. Being a Wood Elf, and not having any high level cultural smithing this was one of the only ways to cap out my smithing other than sickles. And if SOE thinks I am going to shell out 100k+++ on smithing to cap out after all this work they can take a flying leap.

This couldve been changed with the patch. I went to 200 on these 2 days before the patch.
Cannot verify 200 is my cap atm

I'm pretty sure I got 1 point today, though I'm not 100 percent sure. So 192 might be when at least gorgets go trivial..

Gauntlets are not trivial at 192. So Gauntlets >192. These are still 1 orb and 2 swirling so not too bad.

This could be quite horrible. Ive got 5 skills above 200, and just got the 3aa to raise smithing. 500 orbs in the bank/mules and 300 shadows saved up. If i cant take shadowscream to at least 220, to be able to do the Aid Grimmel quest, it pretty much ends any tradeskilling for me. Im not going to spend hundreds of hours doing acrylia, or hundrds of kpp doing sickels. I have no cultural armor to try.

Verant is so idiotic at times. To have literally no alternatives to do, and to give no warning they were changing this is so stupid. Really ruins my attitude towards the whole thing. Its difficult enough trying to GM 7 skills, without them changing things with no warning at all. Yes, shadowscream armor sucked for the level of difficulty, but that means make the armor better, not lower the trivial. Smithing has been nerfed enough as is, to take away the one viable means of raising skill is insane.

Lets withhold mass hysteria until a few people have confirmed/narrowed the Trivals.

I've only just hit 204 with the last of my shadowscream supplies.

I currently don't have a lot of plat so this change would just mean that my focus shifts from pharming green cons to pharming mobs that actually drop good sellable loot and MAYBE give exp (I haven't earnt any exp in the last 4 weeks to get smithing from 188 to 204!).

Sickles are a bit of a pain in the ass though, even when you HAVE the cash.

EDIT: And lets not forget _maybe_ LoY has added alternate skill-up path from 188... /crosses fingers

Managed to pick up some Tae Ew and Lizard blood yesterday.
Got 1 Tae Ew Shield from 3 attempts! (skill 204 + geerlok). $$$

Gave shield to a friend though rather than sell it. Must try to make some more!

Collar not trivial at 197. Failed boots, can't comment on trivial.

I did 20 combines on Bracers yesterday, I was not getting the trivial message for any of it... Are you sure that you did not read the "this is trivial" for when you made the Humming Orbs by mistake...

I'll tell you I did that exact thing. I was making bracers and saw the no longer skill up message and freaked! I was at skill 191. So I looked closer and it WAS the message from my humming orbs.

Made a bunch of Bracers just now and got no Trival message at 204 skill.
