  • Dark Elf Cultural Trivial

Last night I tried skilling up on my smithing skill (183) with dark elf cultural armor. First I tried doing regular adamantite plate gorget, which is suppossed to be trivial at 188, it was trivial at 183. Then I tried to do a adamantite plate pauldron, which is suppossed to be trivial at 196, it was trivial at 183. After doing this I was broke, and couldnt smith anything else. But I will keep posting when I find out what else is trivial at 183.

Actually the one combine that was done and reported was trivial at 188 or 196. The trivial could be somewhere lower. Since it was trivial for you at 183, we know it's 183 or lower on those 2 pieces.

Sorry about the wasted tempers man.

It seems folks are always confusing the math symbols around here, to the point that we've made an FAQ about it. http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=69

Basically, ANY time you see a "<=" in front of a trivial, it *only* means that someone at the skill listed tried the item and it is trivial. The actual trivial can be far lower than the number listed, but nobody's bothered to report in with updates.

While I'm sorry for your frustration, but the information you provided will be of help in further narrowing of the trivials.

If you find any further updates, please use the sticky topic in this forum that's set aside for trivial reporting, so it's easier for me to find.

      Thanks!

Trivials for non enchanted adamantite plate seem to be identical to their corresponding fine plate counterpart (ie worthless to skill up on and should be considered a waste of tempers to do so)

        Enchanted ones trivial higher though

As a dark elf smith, it is cheaper to do finesteal bp's till 188. Less hassle for the little skill. You'll need to do enchanted Adamanted once reaching 188 skill. (I've made about 17 pieces with only one skill, but I only do it in bursts of 6 at a time or so, dern shadowed men) </br>Personaly the hassle of farming essence of shadow made me wait
What you see is what you get, and if you call me a smurf again you can forget about your next heal!
