Pristine Tae Ew Scales

Where in Cazic Thule do Pristine Tae Ew Scales drop? I was at the pyramid in CT the other day for hours and not one dropped. Got 12 bloods though! THe Tae Ew plate is comparable to pre-EP PoP plate.

I think youre in the right place. However the scales are far rarer then Grimfeather. Dont camp there *expecting* to get em to drop.

A group of did the Gnome escort in the maze section of CT a few months ago. Aside from getting pristine scales we also got Flawless hides. I think it was luck of the draw though.

I found scales randomly when i was there.. I mean i once got one from duo'ing the front 2 mobs theres this was all right after they upgraded CT so may have changed since then, otherwise i think its just a really rare drop from liz

Well, I buy my Tae Ew scales from a vendor that generally has 30 tae ew bloods on at any given time, plus a variety of nice drops from the zone (we're talking hardcore farmer of CT). It took me a couple of months of checking the bazaar every day to buy the six scales I needed for my attempt at greaves. So...it's just a matter of them being unpleasantly rare.
