Icon of The Altar?

I was exping in KT the other day and collected some inanimate ore. Doing a search reveals that it can be used to make a Vial of Smelted Ore, which is one of the components to making ... Icon of The Altar. I haven't been able to dig up anything on this after searching a few other websites, anyone know what this is used for? Trying to decide if I should ditch this stuff or hang on to it. I'd hate myself if I destroyed it and found out later it was something rare and valuable.

Icon of the Altar is used to get Ikkinz 4 raid instances for your guild. Only one member of your raid needs to have this Icon key to get the raid, however, and the other ingredients necessary come from beating the first three Ikkinz raids.

Thought Icon of the altar was also needed in BiC quest. Not sure ATM, tho.
