That purely depends on your race. If you are Human, you can make Imbued Field Plate till 242. I'm not too sure on other races. IFP, while not terribly expensive, is rather time consuming to gater the sea foams for tempers. I've resorted to vendor mining the odd stack here and there and saving till I had a hundred or so combines available to do a run.

As nearly as I can tell, there are 3 ways to level up from the 220s on: shadowscream (by far the cheapest, if you farm the ingredients), tae ew (also fairly cheap if you farm the blood, but incredibly time consuming to do it that way, and some of the armor might actually sell), and whatever racial/cultural armor you might have available to you (probably the most expensive, and most racial doesn't sell worth crap these days, especially since they nerfed tribute yet again--I have several bags of barb armor to prove it).

So yeah, if you want "economical" shadowscream is the way to go...
