Unless you are in a solid Elemental/Time guild, have astonishingly incredible luck on vendors or are willng to pay the 4000-15000pp price tag in bazaar per raw component, you will NEVER see any of these.

Just an FYI

By the way, and you may already know this - so forgive me if I am telling you again, BARS of shimmering ore are obtained by combining RAW shimmering ore in a forge all by itself.

I used the search function on the main site and found it.

Here is a tip:

When using "Search", if you don't suceed the first time it might be due to the way you are spelling the item, ex: Bar's or Bars = No matches found

You can always try again by shortening your search terms, ex: Shimmering yields multiple results, but the one you needed is in that list of results (right at the top, actually!)

I think he only refines "Aligned Ore" instead of "Shimmering Aligned Ore"?
Because I remember I gave him one time the shimmering one and he gives it back to me with the standard "this is none of my business blah blah blah" quest text.

Anyone can confirm higher components can be refined by NPC or not?
Including JC (Raw Shimmering Nihilite) or Tailoring (Aged Muramite Etched Scales)?

The Ores, as well as any of the other hand-in conversions, are possible with one of 2 NPCs in the same area. Aligned Ore is handed to the ogre by the forge, who hands back 2 bars of Aligned Steel. Shimmering Ore is handed to the female ogre between the 2 armor merchants, same room, and she hands back 2 Bars of Shimmering Steel. Same with the Rocks, Nihilite, Wheat, Teas - all of em

The reason it is not in the DB yet, is we don't have any mobs identified yet in the zone that drops them.

shimmering ore and shimmering nihilite can drop from any mob in Kod'taz

a hynid
a cragbeast
a mastrug (fill in the blank)
a rak'tuk (fill in the blank)
an ixxt (fill in the blank)
an aneuk (fill in the blank)

when i say fill in the blank I mean there are multiple versions of the mob

Items we have in the database are:

shimmering aligned ore
and
raw shimmering nihilite

Niether of these have sources yet. Are these the ones you are getting from the specified mobs?

yessir sir. dem b da kod mob names who can drop both shimmering

i will also catalogue the names in Uqua, Qvic. Yxxta and In@#&^ (hate the name) as I have time.
