  • Planar Plate

I know there was a rumor of the planar plate recipes being refined to use less tempers (the currently use twice as many tempers as chain, and are not ever comparable to the ease of silk.) Is this fix in the works?

I've posted a proposal about that both here and on the Sony boards. I don't know if the devs even saw it, as they didn't respond to either thread.

The core proposal is on my own site here:

    The EQTC discussion is here:

I'm too lazy to find the one on the EQLive forums.

Just replace the temper all ring/joint/sheet recipes with Ethereal temper (the one used in making the ornate stuff), and only use 1 temper on final combine. This puts it in line with the rest of the armor sets. Look at cultural, high elves use dew to make rings/jointing/sheets then moonlight temper for the final combine. Acrylia uses water to make rings/jointing/sheets then acrylia temper for final combine. why should PoP stuff require so many tempers?

It also makes it equitable to silk, which uses 1 agent per. Imagine if you needing an agent for Each swatch?
