  • Trivial of Tae Ew Plate

    wanna talk about ridiculous trivials....

just managed - after a month of farming the iksar blood and pristine scales - to make a BP - trivial: 228 - so please adjust the recipe in the database.

Tae Ew Chain is 295 trivial - yet the plate that is harder to find parts for, is 228? man that has me laughing!!!

Great. I've been short one pristine scale for ages hoping to do a set of legs. Would suck to not at least have a chance at a skillup.

Qralt.... are you mad? If youve been trying to get something to do a combine for 'ages' as you say.. wouldnt you want the smallest possible chance of failure possible?

If its something you may have the chance of getting a skillup on, you shouldnt be doing the combine. Save your skilling up for when you ARENT gonna smash things and slaughter small animals in a fit of rage when you fail the combine.

i just think they have the trivials set wrong. im sure they didnt mean for tae ew plate - which requires scales from the brown lizards near the pyramid, and iksar blood which is rare these days, and tae ew blood....there is no way that combine should be lower than the chain - which you can sit at zone in and farm blood for...

Actually, what Splunge said makes sense, Axemaster. The difficult-to-make stuff is the stuff that is easiest to assemble pieces for, and the easy-to-make stuff is the stuff that is hardest to assemble pieces for, leading to (in theory) roughly equal numbers of each item being produced net. Remember, most players don't give a hoot which item gives skill-ups, they just want to see equal numbers of each of the armour types.
