  • I just got 18 skillups in 200 combines

I went from 222 to 240 making shadowscream boots. I have never had such a great skillup rate! Twice, I got three points right in a row, and once I got two points in a row. This is SO easy after getting tailoring to 250.

Ten more points and I can join the 1750 club!

Hope you have some wood to knock on. Getting that lucky means your next 10 points will probably suck beyond belief.

Except that, with a geerlok or trophy, those last 10 points are meaningless.

      1750 club notwithstanding, of course.

by the same token.. if you've been working on tradeskills for 4+ years, and your goal was 1750 the second they made the change so you could.. the next 10 points are more meaningful than any of the prior 1740.

but yeh, hope you didn't just jinx yourself.

you realize that you cursed yourself for eternity in other tradeskills right?

Just got 14 skillups in tailoring on 146 combines. A rate of almost 1 per 10 combines. (from 224 to 238 skill). My last run of 120 combines netted me 7 or 8 skillups, forget which.

When I did smithing, I got stuck at 199 for 347 combines. I also had 2 or 3 80+ hell points in smithing. I honestly don't think smithing is any easier than tailoring. Your luck just ran good on the smithing, and not so on the tailoring. mine seems to be the other way.
