Yttrium sheet combines

Is it just me or is this the ugliest combine in the tradeskill world? I've gone 0 for 6 now with a skill of 252 smithing. No wonder you can never find anyone at a Seru raid with a bane weapon. When you consider the time it takes to get a few fungoid saps together along with a rate of failures on combines like I have seen it's starting to get a bit frustrating. Am I just unlucky or have others run into this wall?

I was 5 for 17 on sheet combines with max smithing skill. That's when I gave up wasting my time farming saps.

Its a 335 combine, and like all of those, you have about a 40-50% success rate at max skill, and the RNG can be a beast when you have small sample sizes.

This is a fickle combine....11 for 11 until last night, then I failed two in a row =/ Oh, well. I really don't mind failures, but I was doing the combine for a guildy, and I have notoriously bad luck doing combines for him, have failed 8 Mistletoe Cutting Sickles, a Livestone Armor, and now two Yttrium Sheets, he probably doesn't believe I have smithing skill anymore (/hug Implosion, I am sure I'll get one right one of these days!)

A guildie has been farming the supplies and asking me to make them for him .. I didn't keep exact count, but I think I am 2 out of 10 on them. It's ugly.

It will show 252.

I have 224 smithing + 15% and I also get 252.

As for the much belated response, my new UI is showing 252 just like a 5% mod.
