What are enchanted Velium Bits used for?

I was just experimenting with a next step in smithing and made my first Enchanted Velium Bits. I am trying to figure out how much it will cost to sill up to the triv.

I was wondering what the Enchanted Velium Bits are used for. They are no drop, can't be sold and can't be used for tribute. That sounds like a quest item some where along the line and probably in the Velious time frame.

Does anyone have a clue as to what to use them for?

This is for the oracle quest resulting in the phylactery. Should find it under quests for details.

Ah ok, thanks. I guess that I will be just destroing the ones I use for skill ups then.

Just keep one around so you don't have to destroy any til you're done with skilling on them (lore tag will eat the extras, no, it won't inhibit skill raises).
