Looking to farm alot of Swirling Mist for HE Cultural armor.

Cleared the elemental Island in Twillight Sea 3 times no drops yet.

Are there any other good spots to Farm for Swiling Mist?? And about what rate can I expect??

    Thank you.

Did you have see invisible on when you cleared the island? The ones that drop the most swirling mist are the air elementals, don't ask me why, and they are usually invisible. You need to get see invisible in order to hunt them.

Yes, I have a see invisible up. =)

I've been getting the essence of wind from the Air elemental, and the swirling mist from the water.

All all the elementals PH's for each other or the spawns static??

The elementals are PHs for each other. For a while I was hunting exclusively earth elementals, and the island would become progressively more earth-free. Kill off a random mix, and more earth would start to reappear.

Swirling mists drop off of air elementals everywhere except Twilight Sea, where they drop off of water elementals. Its weird.

The drop rates aren't too stellar, but beyond "don't expect it to be fast", I don't have any good gauge for you, in TS or elsewhere (Najena, Steamfront).

3 hours farming essence of wind by mass killing in twilight sea netted me 24 swirling mists, 18 lava stones, 12 drops of mercury, 15 essence of wind and 1 windstone.

I consider that a decent haul since Najena pre-Luclin would net me 1 or 2 lava stones an hour.

Earthen temper, aye. 1 lava stone + 2 drops of mercury + 1 dwarven ale = dwarf cultural temper
