    Tae Ew Shield

    Hats off to Muffildy on making this tonight on the Ayonae Ro server.

    Stats:
    AC: 35
    STR: +8 WIS: +8 INT: +8 HP: +50 MANA: +50
    SV FIRE: +25 SV DISEASE: +7 SV POISON: +7 SV MAGIC: +10
    wt: 4.5 size: medium
    required level 51
    Class: war clr pal rng shd dru brd shm
    Race: all


    *Tae ew blood vial + scale temper = lizard blood temper.

    *lizard blood temper + 2 sheet metal (same that is used for banded armor) + smithing hammer + kite shield mold = tae ew shield.

    1 for 2 at 250 skill +5%

    Graphic is luclin model... same as the int caster shield that drops from the Va Dyn in Ahkeva ruins; I'll post screens later on.

    Very nice shield.

    Extremely nice, when you consider that it's just the temper that is hard to get.

            It only fits the shield slot... not back, legs, or neck.

                  Recent attempts

                  On Lanys, I was 1 for 2 on this shield at a skill of 222 plus trophy.

                  The Smithy Hammer in both cases was returned as a Velium Smithy Hammer.

                  I will likely report a bug, unless I am truly ignorant of the ways of Smithing.

                    The CT stuff seems to have a lower trivial than cultural. I saw 13 tae ew bloods on a bazaar vendor for 200pp each (woot!), snagged them, and went 2/2 on chain tunics, 2/2 on chain legs, 2/2 on 2h swords, and 2/2 on shields. I tried several other shield combos, couldn't get any others to work unfortunately.

                      I'm confused.

                      Do you need regular Tae Ew blood or Thul Tae Ew blood? I saw some regular Tae Ew blood on a vendor and left it becuase I thought it had to be Thul Tae Ew blood.

                        I'm not sure the name right now, but the blood is a yellow vial and costs 210pp off NPCs. I don't think the name has Thul in it.

                          It is a tad confusing, should get that changed so no one misses out on the good stuff on vendors hehe. The blood you need is "Tae Ew Blood Vial" yellow, stackable, droppable.

                            A friend an I tried combining the various other shields tonight an nothing seemed to work but the kite.. BTW what are you guys selling these for?

                            Looking for decent price range.. Thinking in the 40's isn't to much.

                            Hard to say.. Any feedback would be helpful

                              Depends on yours server economy, but I can't see one ever selling for more than 25kish.
