Aligned ore?

Just wondering if anyone has found a recipe or use for this yet (not bar of aligned ore. just aligned ore, stackable).

Aligned Ore in a forge = 1 or 2 bars of aligned ore

Recipe is given as a reward for doing the smithing tradeskill quest in Abysmal. I do not know if doing the quest is required to use this recipe.

Went to speak to this guy last night, it was an Ogre in the blacksmithing area of the ship. If you give him the ore he will give you 2 bars which was a nice surprise.

If you do the quest he gives or Esunta gives you can make the bars yourself just by putting the ore in a forge and hitting combine. You will make only 1 bar at first but the more you do it the better you get. Eventually you can get up to 3 bars back iirc.
