I justed wondered if a Smith of 195 Skill can make etheral rings with gearlock and do gearlock and Grand Smithing hammer stack <Ie 10 %>.

Yes and no. It depends on if you have a 5% or 15% mod item. With a 5% mod item you can start making these at 210 with a 15% you can start making these at 192.

With my creator hammer I made rings from 192-212. It took 354 combines to get those 20 skills.

The bricks can be bought from vendors for 83pp and from players for 25pp. If you have a 220 brewer the tempers are 3pp each. This can be a cheap and fast way to get to 212.

Oh and FYI out of the 354 combines I failed 9 times.
