  • Can antitheists wear cultural amor?

Maybe it sounds silly, but i do want to know that if my character is an antitheist, could he wear the cultural amor that asking for some deity, such as Fierce Heraldic Helm(human /Qeynos) which ask for deity:rallos zek ?

No, agnostics cannot wear deity armor. You must follow the deity to wear it. You can, however, make the armor, if you are the proper race.

I actually think anti-theist is a better term than agnostic for EQ.

An agnostic is supposed to be somebody who believes that the existance of god(s) can neither be proved or disprooved.

There is quite enough evidence in EQ to prove that the gods do exist, so you'd have to be retarded to be a true agnostic.

        Anti-theist is more sensical.

Note that Fine Heraldic armour does not require a deity though it is fairly race restricted. It is identical to deity armour in terms of AC and HP though each piece is missing one attribute bonus that a deity piece would have. In theory it should cost less since it does not require an imbued gem.

Lest we forget the fine tailored Erudite wares? I think not. Rigid Steelweave is, while being a cultural recipe, not deity specific. Erudites and many of the lesser races can wear it ;-) While not actually being smithed, it is identical to Fine Heraldic in stats.

/moan erudite caster cultural. a race with 4 robe and 3 plate classes. has tailoring cultural and makes far more plate armor than caster armor and the int caster armor has more wisdom peices than int peices though with only 1 int peice that isn't hard.

sorry. i'm better now. the tailored plate does look pretty good though. i am equipping a human war in only ts made stuff (cept weapons till i can get some insanely expensive tempers) and looking at my mains cultural to equip him. sad my main will never wear his cultural though.

if it has diety restriction only that diety can wear it just like if it only said troll only trolls could wear it. if it isn't imbued though anyone can.

I think subzero was going for atheist. But from what I hear of EQ2, Agnostic's have a point. The "Gods" are powerful beings, but not Gods. All depends on how you define a God :-/

Fine Steel Plate (non-deity Qeynos armour) is not too bad however, but Fierce is soo much more useful for a warrior.
