Well, after months of farming and combining, I ran out of stuff for human cultural (freeport) after hitting 241, one short of trivial.
Having had my fill of trying to find Mugs of Sea foam, I decided to do some Mistletoe Cutting Sickles. Had enough for 17 combines....got 242 on the first one and 243 on the last one.
Emboldened by this success, I gathered my long-hoarded Royal Tempers and trekked to Qeynos for some attempts at Fierce Heraldic armor.
I went 7-for-10 on making 1-ring items (five bracers, one collar, and one visor) and gaining two skillups to get to 245.
The next day, I gathered enough for more sickles....had enough for 20 combines, and went 5-for-20, but gained two more skillups to get to 247, on back to back combines.
Then I did 10 black acrylia combines, making one halbard (didn't notice they were lore...succeeded on five of the 10, but only ending up with one halbard) and getting two skillups to 249.
Lucky? I think I was extremely lucky! 57 combines=8 skillups!
